Access Minneapolis: Design Guidelines for Streets and Sidewalks

The Design Guidelines for Streets and Sidewalks is one of components of Access Minneapolis, which is the City of Minneapolis’ transportation action plan that addresses a full range of transportation options and issues, including pedestrians, bicycles, transit, automobiles, and freight. It was developed to assist staff and stakeholders in the decision making process for planning and designing complete streets that support and encourage walking, bicycling and transit use while promoting safe operations for all users.
