Summary

The City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG) and Scoop have partnered in an effort to encourage carpooling, as part of the pilot program, Carpool In San Mateo County!. Through this partnership, drivers and riders who link-up to form a carpool using the Scoop app during peak travel periods (from 5:30-10:00 AM and 3:30-8:00 PM) will receive $2. This carpool incentive can be received up to two times per day (for a total of $4). All local residents and commuters are eligible to participate.

Carpool In San Mateo County! is supported by $1,000,000 from C/CAG and aims to reduce local traffic, the need for parking, and greenhouse gas emissions.
