The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) has partnered with the Outdoors for All Foundation to offer community members a free adaptive bike rental program. This program has a fleet of 200 bicycles that users can access on a first-come-first-serve basis at Magnuson Park. Bicycles are available every day of the week from 10 AM through 6 PM, except on holidays. Designs for the bikes include:
Outside of the summer season, the Outdoors for All Foundation offers bike rentals only by appointment and at a cost to users. 2023 will be the fourth season in which SDOT has partnered with the Outdoors for All Foundation to offer free adaptive bike rentals—programs like these help to expand access to active transportation choices for people with disabilities.
