Key Definitions
Peer-to-peer transportation network shall mean an online application used to connect passengers through prearrangement to a peer-to-peer transportation network driver who uses the driver's personal vehicle for the purpose of transporting passengers for hire, gift, donation, or other consideration, either directly or indirectly.
Peer-to-peer transportation network company or peer-to-peer company shall mean every corporation, limited liability corporation, association, joint stock association, person, firm, or partnership operating a peer-to-peer transportation network to connect passengers to drivers using the driver's personal vehicle through prearrangement for the purpose of arranging transportation for passengers for hire, gift, donation, or other consideration, either directly or indirectly.
