Ontario devotes $4.9 million to expand bike share at transit stations in Toronto, 2015

The province of Ontario pledged $4.9 million to expand the Toronto bike share system, specifically at transit centers to help commuters have an easier time completing the first and last miles of their trip. In addition to the $4.9 million, Ontario is also planning to allocate $15 million over the next three years to expand bicycling infrastructure in Toronto. All of this money is intended to ease urban congestion and better connect those using transit to the entire city.
