This report produced by Commute Seattle, a non-profit Transportation Management Association partnership, examined the commuter benefits offered to employees in the central business district and three outlying neighborhoods (Ballard, Fremont, and the University District). They found that nearly half of the employers offered transit passes or subsidies to employees, and that those that did used the benefit as a competitive hiring incentive. The report includes analyses of other commuter benefits, such as ridesharing and telecommuting.
