This Spotlight’s storyteller is Miguel Cervantes, a Design Researcher at IDEO, a global firm that creates positive impact through design. In this Spotlight, he invites us to experience the infrastructure of people by documenting riders of the Chicago Transit Authority’s Green Line, which runs through the City’s Bronzeville neighborhood. With photographs that are simultaneously personal and universal, he shows us how this could be any transit service in any town while bringing the mobility conversation back to the core of what matters: WHO is riding from space to place.
