Metro Transit has partnered with the local carsharing service, HOURCAR to allow users to use Go-To transit cards to access HOURCAR vehicles anywhere in its metro area network. The aim of the partnership is to make it easier to seamlessly switch between transit and carsharing. Prior to the partnership, HOURCAR users had to carry a specially designed key fob to unlock their pre-reserved vehicles. Now, they can scan the Go-To transit card on the card reader on the vehicle dashboard and drive.
