RFI for Autonomous Transit Vehicles, LYNX, Orlando, Florida, 2018

LYNX, which is the DBA of the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority issued the attached request for information (RFI) to explore the possibility of operating autonomous vehicles on their bus rapid transit (BRT) routes, which are known as LYMMO. LYNX plans to operate multiple AV pilots on theses lines, to compare service. Vehicles might range in the 2-8 or 9-35 passenger size, but must meet a list of requirements that are listed in the document, including performance requirements for the vehicles, and completion of a checklist for pre-pilot items such as ADA accessibility.
