RTC & Lyft partner for rideshare, North Las Vegas, NV, 2018

  • Date Launched: Nov 1, 2018
  • Date Ended: Apr 1, 2019

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is partnering with rideshare service provider, Lyft, and sports merchandise company, Fanatics, for a six-month pilot program. Through this partnership, subsidized rides are available to Fanatics employees to make it easier for them to travel between designated public transit stops and the Northgate Distribution Center in North Las Vegas – with RTC subsidizing $1 per trip, Lyft reducing standard ride rates, and Fanatics covering the remaining balance. The program is part of RTC’s Workforce Mobility Program and can be expanded to other companies at Northgate Distribution Center (an area not served by RTC’s existing transit routes), in order to improve job access.
