Summary
In Spring 2020, the University of Oregon’s Urbanism Next Center released a report titled “Perfecting Pilots with Policy: New Mobility and AV Urban Delivery Pilot Project Assessment“. This report aimed to determine the lessons learned, emerging trends and considerations, and examples of promising practices from pilot projects in the United States and Canada. Based on assessments from 220 pilot projects and 11 case studies, the report recommends 10 actions and 31 lessons learned for pilot projects and supporting policy.
