US Dept of Labor information brief on AVs as way to facilitate employment for people with disabilities, 2019

Through 2018, the US Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and the USDOT co-hosted information-gathering sessions to facilitate discussion regarding how autonomous vehicles (AVs) could increase employment opportunities for the disability community. The findings of these sessions were published in an October 2019 information brief, Autonomous Vehicles: Driving Employment for People with Disabilities. 

The brief includes a summary of the key takeaways from each session, as well as conclusions for the next iterations of discussions surroundings AVs and the disability community.
