Milwaukee Dockless Scooter Pilot Evaluation Summary, Milwaukee, WI, 2019

In December of 2019, the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works released a one-page summary of the city’s 2019 Dockless Scooter Pilot Study. The full report is anticipated in early 2020.

The summary features key takeaways from the pilot program, including the total number of rides taken, feedback received through complaints and surveys, and information on crashes and collisions. The three permitted operators – Bird, Lime and Spin – had been authorized to deploy vehicles until December 31, 2019, but all three had removed their scooters from the city streets by the end of November.
