The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency announced an 18-month pilot in which it issued its first and exclusive permit for a stationless, or dockless, bikesharing service to JUMP bikes, an electric bikesharing operation by Social Bicycles. Additionally, Uber announced a partnership, Uber Bike by JUMP, in which Uber users can find and use the latter from their app.
