Summary
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has partnered with Lyft to provide First/Last Mile service to/from two of its stations, the Parkwood Station and JW Clay/UNC Charlotte Station for trips taken within a geo-fenced area surrounding both stations. The agency provides a $4.00 subsidy to the user, who can hail the service either by adding the code into the CATSPass mobile app (offers 40 Lft trips) entering a station code into the app for 2 Lyft trips per month. Wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) trips are provided via a dial-in concierge service.
