Key Definitions: “Taxicab” - a public passenger vehicle-for-hire having a seating capacity of eight (8) or fewer passengers, exclusive of the driver, that may be hired by dispatch or hailed on the street and for which the fare charged is calculated by an Office-approved meter with uniform rates determined by the Commission.
