GoMonrovia, Monrovia, California, 2018

The City of Monrovia has partnered with Lyft and LimeBike to launch GoMonrovia. This multimodal transportation program has re-purposed some of the city’s dial-a-ride funds in order to offer residents subsidized Lyft rides and bikeshare access. As of March 17, by entering the program promo code into the Lyft app users can take Lyft anywhere within the Monrovia service area for only $0.50 per ride. Additionally, two hundred LimeBike bicycles are now available for rent at strategic locations throughout the city. These bikes can be borrowed through the LimeBike app for either $1 per 30 minutes of use, or via a monthly membership. GoMonrovia aims to make it easier and cheaper for locals to travel around without the need to drive or park.
